Pray for Shane

Please pray for our Pastor, Shane Martin. On Tuesday afternoon, he was in a terrible automobile accident, and he remains in very serious condition. He and his family have been at our church for two years now. Actually, exactly two years to the date of the accident. God has been using Shane in a mighty way at Lebanon. People who have not attended in years are attending every Sunday now. Shane preaches the Word of God with power, authority and clarity. He connects with so many people by the way he clearly explains the gospel and makes application to everyday life. His personality makes people feel at ease around him. God is in deed at work.

We are asking everyone to join us in prayer as we plead before our Heavenly Father for Shane’s complete healing and restoration. Pray for strength and comfort for his wife and two boys. This is a very difficult time for our church family. Our hearts are breaking. We all love Shane and his family dearly, and are thankful beyond measure that God brought them to us.

“The righteous shall live by faith.”
Praise God from Whom all blessings flow.

UPDATE: Shane died in the early morning hours on Friday, December 13. We will update with service details once we know more. Please continue to pray for his family and our congregation.
